Color Study Challenge Week: Purple

 For purple fjords majesty…..

Okay, so the last study for this is up a little late. I wish I could blame it on St. Patty’s Day, but I was actually productive and got work done during the past week. Not work that anyone would be impressed with, but organization and adding new furniture to the workspace isn’t small potatoes either.

Purple fjords. They come in varying sizes and shades, but rarely purple. Though, I suppose if you were out cruisin’ the river and suddenly things were purple, perhaps the emotion wouldn’t necessarily include serene or calm. If Scandinavian (not including Finland, well, because it’s special) weather is as fickle as it is over here in the Pacific Northwest, I am sure when you see the light and color change, one knows to look for cover so you don’t get pelted by any or all of the following: sleet, hail, wind, rain, snow, small branches or the occasional lightening. I am not exaggerating about the branches either.

Next week, watercolor process and the inkjet printer!

I really like this one–they've all been great, but this is sellable on its own, in my opinions! The colors look great, the watery texture fits the subject matter, and the shapes are really attractive, <333
